In addition to our time spent designing and engineering our machine, weve been learning about the many topics surrounding malting, like barley breeding, farming, brewing with grains other than barley, and the science of malting. Our long term goal is to make malt and malting accessible to brewers by putting together the knowledge, seeds, and equipment needed for anyone to malt at home.
Now were starting a long form blog to share the big ideas we encounter. Post 1 this week is all about how barley varieties are developed, and big beers role in the process...check it out!
