Hey All,
I have been brewing with Mr. Beer kit for a couple of months. Wasn't real impressed with the beers. A little light in the flavor department! I just moved up to a five gallon kit and have my first batch ready to bottle!
Looking forward to learning a new hobby!

Welcome!! This is not a hobby, more like an addiction. Lol. You've been warned. :)

And you will be very happy with your beers if you have some patience. I was guilty of drinking my first brews before they had been sufficiently conditioned. The taste ok to begin with, but they are so much better with sufficient conditioning and fridge time!

My experience. Kit 1 was an amber ale. Let it ferment for 2 weeks and bottled it. Kit 2 was the same amber ale but let that sit 3 weeks. 2nd batch was much better. I let all my brews ferment 3 weeks now.
