...well, not new to internet forums, but certainly new here...
actually 3 of us at work are partners (bought all the stuff together and share the work); we're only on our 6th batch of brew (have one still conditioning, a couple gone, others in various stages of aging and consumption....)
as with my other hobbies, I find that advice from the shopkeeper tends to result in us needing to buy something; and advice from a couple friends results in duplicating their efforts... so why not join a forum and get some outside unbiased opinions when questions arise???
looking forward to it... so far we have done one "kit" extract-grain (Brewers Best); 2 recipes of e/g we found on the 'net, a partial mash, and 2 batches of all grain. All has been good.... just looking for advice on how to maniuplate flavors (without having to do it 6 gal at a time...)
