Howdy all. Erik here...newbie from North Carolina. Have my second batch ever finishing up primary now, and getting ready to transfer it to secondary with some blood orange puree for a week or so. This one seems to be going better than my first attempt...fingers crossed. I am already planning to make it again, just as all-grain next time. I figure that for not too much extra work over extract, why not just go all grain now, ya' know?

Any how, just wanted to drop in and introduce myself.

Welcome! What's your second batch style?

It's a Blood Orange Hefeweizen. My brother plays bagpipes in a Celt Punk band called Born Again Heathens. I talked with all the guys in the band, and I did it as a tribute to them, since I have just moved back to where my family is after very little contact for the last 10 years. I call it "Born Again Heathenweizen".
