I am new to the whole brewing thing, starting my first batch this weekend.

Also, I accidentally purchased two 15 gallon pots instead of one, will this come in handy when I move to all grain or is it too big?

Welcome. Yes, the two pots will come in handy for all grain. Especially if you attach a weldless ball valve to one or both.

Hey - welcome to HBT.

I would think you made about the best "mistake" a beginner could make. It's almost impossible to go wrong with a 15 gallon pot. You'll be able to do full boils right from the start, and you'll be set to go All Grain if/when you decide.
