Hey guys. I've been lurking for about a year now, and since I finally started brewing decided to become a Premium Member to help support a great site that has given me a lot of good info to get started.

A buddy and I are getting into this as a hobby since we both love beer and everything that goes into it. We both work as industrial electricians and have decided to name our brewery "High Voltage Brewery". We are both in our 20's and want to get into this as early as possible so that we can learn as much as we can, as well as develop our own recipes in hopes of one day, when we can retire, to open up a brewpub to fall back on after retirement.

I did my first brew two weeks ago. It is a Newcastle Clone kit from Midwest Supplies. The boil and everything went extremely well, and I hit all of my marks perfectly. I transferred to a secondary last Thursday, and during, gave it a little taste test... needless to say,.. it tasted good, and I can't wait to bottle and try after a few weeks!

Anyways,.. I will stop blabbin and just close with a hearty CHEERS! :mug:

Welcome! Very cool brewery name and logo you have there. Hope it's attached to the front of a building one day. Congrats on your first brew :mug:

Welcome,

I live right next door in Inwood and started brewing almost a year ago. I built a hybrid electric/propane set-up and have 4 beers on tap. Let me know if you ever want to stop by for research purposes. I'm no expert by any means, but I've learned a lot from this site. The beer is even starting to taste good too.

Good luck
