Hello!
I just started the homebrew hobby back in late December.
My sister got me a Mr. Beer kit, and I made my first batch using their supplies.
It wasn't long until I found the "liquid hobby" store here in town and bought an IPA kit from them.
About this time, i tried my first brew... it was terrible.. hahahahah..
The IPA kit i got from the store was to make 5 gallons, and the Mr Beer fermenter is only for 2.5 gallons, so i halved it.
Gladly, that turned out better (i'm drinking a glass of Batch #2 right now!).
Anyway, I think i've been bitten by the bug. I enjoyed making the first two batches so much i went back to the "liquid hobby" store and bought the 5 gallon beer making kit, so now I want to make more and more and more beer.
This is something I always wanted to try, and I really have to thank my sister for this past Christmas's gift.
Anyway, I'm from South Carolina, so if there are any other folks from SC let me know!
