Hey all, I've been homebrewing since 1996 when I bought a kit for a friend who was getting married. We liked the beer, so I bought on for myself.
Since then I have done a batch here and there over the years. I've done liquid extracts, dry extracts and partial mashes up until a few months ago. I was fortunate to become acquaintances with a guy who got me over the hump of all grain and the next level of my brewing. I've also done a few batches of wine from kits and have some mead thats a month or so into fermenting now.
My wife and I got married last may and we used my wine in the ceremony, and had my beer at the rehearsal dinner.
Anyway, BrewmastersWarehouse just relocated across the street from my brother in-laws restaurant so now I'm brewing up like a mad-man!
Currently fermenting is a Pillbox Chocolate mint stout clone, mead and some Cabernet. Next up I plan on doing a Barley-wine.
Equipment wise I have 2 turkey fryers. A 10 gallon aluminum pot that I havent used yet for brew and a 30Qt. stainless pot with a spigot from bass pro shops (http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Sho...ith-Spigot-30-Quart/product/10216560/-1680190)
For Christmas my wife got me a plate chiller and a bazooka screen with 10 gallon cooler. (OK she got me a gift certificate to Brewmasters Warehouse)
Anyway... here's to Brew! :mug:

Moved my Chocolate Stout to the secondary fermenter tonight and took my first attempt at yeast washing. I'll see how that goes but I think that slating might be a better way to go.

The Brickstore a great, except when you get your bar-tab. I'd say most of the beers are $6-12 but there are plenty of $20+ beers on the menu as well. But it sure is a great place to go sampling. We went up there on the Tuesday after the ice storm here and killed a few hours to get out of the house.
