Just finishing up my first home brew and got a second one coming behind it. Looking forward to many many more brews ahead and getting into kegging at some point. I've gotten some good info from the boards already so I'm glad to be here.

Hey babalu,

Yeah, I've seen the SSBC. Mansfield is a bit of a ride. We are very small, but fun still. CCLAM is a bit closer for me as well.

Thanks for the Jamboree info, perhaps we'll check it out.

Hey man - Welcome from Foxboro!

If you're ever in the area hit up Witches Brew for supplies. I don't work there, the guys are just great so I figured i'd give them a shout.

Have fun!

Meetings are held in either Middleboro or Norton

We're trying to figure out a Jamboree type thing down this way.
Thinking Maple Park Campground around June

Now those Towns would be doable, the website said Mansfield.

Not down on Maple Park at all. Wife used to work there...ya don't wanna know.

KOA in Middleboro has a pretty big group site area and you can utilize their pavilion. Our Cub Scouts have used it before.

We've camped at Maple Park, seems OK for that. Maybe there is something we dont know. Kids like the pond.

KOA might have and issue with beer drinkers................then again I wonder if Massachusetts would even allow something like this.

When and where is the next meeting? Perhaps our Plymouth guy would be interested too.

Our group doesn't really do meeting, we get together to do brews. We've done conentrated wort split amongst brewers and diluted and fermented at the brewer's whim, a collaborative mashing session, and sometimes just all brewing our own beer on our own gear together. No dues, just hanging out and learning.

Sorry, took a couple of days to get some time. I am still in the beginning/learning stage but I may be interested in hanging out so I can pick up on things. I haven't started all grain brewing yet but may try soon. I work in Norwood so I'm usually traveling back down 495 so these areas aren't out of range.

Feel free to join our facebook group if you are on it. There is no membership to our club. Our next event is the 21st and a Stein brew is on the agenda. I think there is a collaborative mash doing wheat beers planned for March.
All levels of brewers are in our club, all grainers and extract brewers.
