After 3 kids in the last 9 years and lots of "I should get back into brewing again", I did just that last Saturday! I brewed just a couple of batches from extracts about 10 years ago, and I really should have stuck with it. Great to be back on the horse, though. And like a first timer, all I can think about is what to brew next.
I started with a partial grain version of a blonde ale. I won't bore you with the details here, but the brew went well (if not long. Forgot how long it took to get those temps up and then back down). Good fermentation from Day 1 in the primary, and I'm going to leave it right there per the advice of Revvy and others.
Soaking this board in like a sponge right now. Thanks for all the great advice and ideas!
