I am new to brewing but have been BBQing for 5 years now. This year marks the beginning of my competition career. I bought a new rig - my first comp is in 2 weeks.

Here a vid of my new baby!

Gas is just for lighting the wood/lump. Give it 1 min and shut it down. One of my favorite features!

Nice fraggin rig Monty!

My New Braunfels has a propane starter. I thought it was morally wrong... that is until I used it. My chimney starter is now dusty, laying in a corner of the garage.

Mine too! :mug:

Is NB still in business? I heard they were bought out by CharBroil.

This one is a several years old, pre-CharBroil. The steel is a heavier gauge than I've seen on the CharBroils.

It was bequeathed to me by a buddy a couple summers ago when I got my new place. I'm such a bastige, I just realized I've never had him over for a a Q...

Man that's huge. Too big for my use. All I want is a BGE
I'm saving penny by penny to get one of those. I wish they didn't cost so much but it's going to be so worth the wait when it's finally mine!

That is an amazing rig OP, there is a rib-fest in my town next weekend and we get a lot of 'ribbers' up from the US with those massive rigs that look like buildings all on their own, I can't wait! :D
