I'm 38 and a senior software engineer working for one of the biggest US stock exchange's enterprise software department, writing very low latency electronic trading messaging gateways in C++ on Unix. We work in micro-seconds! Every instruction counts.

Hobbies, asides my new found brewing addiction include...

Aerial photography, using an RC Drone - it's piloted from the ground using a video broadcast using wireless CCTV equipment from the plane.

No idea about Sully. Guinness.... never really like it. It's more like a meal than a beer

I do find it amusing when you travel and find places selling guinness and all too often they pour it from bottom to top in one go and set it in front of you. Your like WTF? Pour it proper man! Half way, then settle for 2 minutes, then top up.

A trick you can play on someone, probably mentioned it before, but it's usually fairly easy to convince your mates you can float a penny on the top of the head. Of course it sinks, but it's immensely funny to watch their face when they realise you were extracting the urine out of them.
