Hi there,
I'm brewing my first cider. I brewed it on 1/20, OG = 1.050 (no additional sugars, just pure VT cider), using wyeast belgian whit 3942. On 1/27, the gravity read 1.014. It tastes GREAT so far.
I plan on kegging this. I don't care about clarity, so is there any big benefit to racking it to a secondary for a few weeks (in terms of flavor)? Or should it be fine if I just rack it to a keg and force carb it? This was made with free cider I got from work, I'd rather drink it sooner than later (it's a gift of sorts for my housemates), is it a big deal if I just keg it straight from primary?
Cheers,
Scott
