Mr Jones.. for someone asking so many questions and getting good answers, you sure jumped on the opportunity to be offended when no offense was evident in the posts.

Every day there is more people in this forum that are not native english -me one of them- I´m sure with a little effort you can understand what I´m trying to say, the same thing applies for superfnkmario. Believe me guys we try to write an at least "respectable" english so cut some slack to us and correct us if you think it will help us but the attitude of looking over the shoulder is not apropiatte. It´s actually the first time that I find a thread like this. My english it´s pretty poor too but at least here I am posting and trying to help in every way I can. If you have nothing positive to say just don´t say anything it´s easier for you and us.

Edit: I just saw what I wrote and it looks like I felt on the keyboard

Heck, english is my navtive language and I still butcher it at times, maybe all the time. Hah!

Being a Brooklyn street urchin I was a great amusement to everyone in North Carolina when I spent some time there in the 60's.. They laughed at almost anything I said..LOL

Believe me, you English is much better than a lot of folks way down south! Try understanding some Bayou! And they are supposed to be speaking English!

Nah, it's not the language that the problem. Adding the period and the capital letters helped a LOT.

Sounds like you are doing what a lot of homebrewers do when starting out: Making extract kits. Nothing unusual or different that I can see. Some people still prefer to add sugar to the recipe and others like to add extract instead. Either way works, it just depends on what you like your beer to taste like.

Hey everyone yeah bosco i got 40 pet bottles with crown caps with the 1st kit i just think id be better using to big 2ltr soda bottles for now till i perfect brewing and move anyway from malt extract brewing. I will bottle a few of the next one when the extra ingrediants arrive also bought the light malt that was needed that should arrive tommorow. If you don't count the initial equipment costs you are enjoying (a little soon but why not it's your first.LOL) what probably works out to be a 10 shilling pint.. How does that stack up to the price at your local pub ??

bosco
