looking to find a good temp controller box for the stc/inkbird type controller units. the issue is that i'd really like to find a box that will fit the controller in its normal horizontal orientation.

the fermenter is glycol cooled and operated by a solenoid, so the box doesnt need to be large enough to also hold a receptacle/outlet. just the unit.

anybody have a similar type set up? maybe with a pic?

thanks

Confused about the "(relatively) vertical" title when these DIN style controllers are pretty much horizontal devices.

This is what I used for my Love TSS2 which has the same outside dimensions as an STC-1000/ ITC-1000/WH7016/MH1210.

I used the same box for all my BrewPi Bluetooth remote "minions". It's a Philmore PB130 plastic box that cost around $6 and is easily worked. Outside dimensions are 7-3/4” 4-3/8” 2-3/8”.

With the Arduino Uno and its 9V wall-wart power supply, LCD and LEDs, Bluetooth transceiver, toggle switches, Leviton duplex outlet, switched/fused AC inlet and three probe channel receptacles, it did get a bit snug, but I'm a fan of compact solutions...

Cheers!
