Recently I bottled my first batch.
I ran out of bottles near the end, so the last 40 ounces or so I bottled in a large kombucha bottle I sanitized.

What I need explained is I have been drinking the beer bottled in that vessel for the last 2 1/2 weeks and it has yet to lose an ounce of carbonation.

When I drink from it I have a couple 3 ounce shots or 4 ounce pours.
How is it not losing carbonation?

Also has not yet been refrigerated.

Is it possible that you beer hadn't yet reached terminal gravity when you bottled and it's still slowly fermenting out?

+1

Sounds like you might be drinking it young so its still producing CO2. Either way, drink up before your luck runs out .. :D
