So, I scored an awesome fridge a couple weeks ago and need some ideas on how to decorate for my new beer fridge. I'm not interested in turning it into a kegerator as I already have that plan in motion with a chest freezer.

So without further ado, gimme some suggestions.

Got it from SWMBO's grandmother's Estate, along with a 23 cu ft freezer. This was the surprise that was waiting for me when I opened it

It has since thawed out and is sitting in my shop waiting on me to get to work sanding it down so I can repaint it.

Paint it pink or aqua.
Either that, or black.
Or, you could paint it your favorite sports theme (go Seahawks :)).

Yeah, I think I would keep it classic and give it a simple paint job. My vote is for aqua, but the best thing to do would be to tie the color into the space where you are putting it.

Yes, it def still works. I was thinking a simple paint scheme, was actually going with a matte black or something along those lines. Will post pictures once I get everything painted.

On a side note, after all the ice melted I found all kinds of old cake mixes, raisins, prunes and a container full of pecans. I don't think this thing had been opened in a number of years, hence the reason for the huge ice block.

You may want to check the seal on the door. That is pretty epic. I'll throw in my vote for aqua also.

Also make sure that thawing that much frost didn't soak your insulation. I picked up a vintage GE fridge on craigslist and didn't realize until we started moving it up the stairs that the insulation was holding a few gallons of water.
