I recently brewed an American Honey Wheat with my home brew club and it ended up way too sweet with little to no bittering. It's currently in primary fermentation and I don't foresee the flavor profile improving on it's own. Any ideas on how to get some hops character and bittering in the beer? I'm thinking hops extract but so far it looks like it needs to be added to the boil.

Thanks

How long has it been in the primary? I'm not sure whether or not hop oil would work in the primary. You could maybe dry hop it, but that wouldn't necessarily make the beer less sweet.
