Alright I'm compiling some notes for this so I need some help on the direction I need to go and quick tips.

I'm going to get the cooper kit as suggested,mi like the fact it had everything,.

I'm also going to add reading materials to my already huge list ( got reloading books on tap) any more suggestions would be great.

I've also been reading in the AG forum and that looks like a cool deal, however would that been good route to take as a greenhorn? Or would the extract be better for my level.

I read somewhere that there was a taste difference between extract and AG is this true?

....and I lost my train of thought :drunk: OH does anyone add a small amount of yeast when bottling? Does that work with home brewing? More to come in this thread...
 
It's not as hard as you might think. Batch sparge single infusion mashing is actually pretty simple stuff. If you think you will end up there then I say go for it.
