I'm planning a 10 gallon batch of Tide Pod Stout ,but am not sure how many pods to use. I read other people have used 1 pod per gallon, but that seems high to me. Should I just drop the pods in the mash, boil or, dry pod the fermenter. Thanks

May try adding at 5 min. To give it time to dissolve and get mixed in really well. As for how many..... how strong of a flavor are you looking for? I would think 1 per Gal would give just a hint.:mug:

I'd go with a nice pale to pair better with your tide pods. I think the malts in a stout would just wash out all the pod characteristics.

Forget the tide pods and go for a Drano NEIPA. I hear it blends well with citra.
Cleans your kettles at the same time.
