I guess my question is, is Munich Type II the same as regular Munich malt? I'm trying to order everything from Brewmasterswarehouse.com and I think that is the closest they have.

Way too high for the style if a true Helles you are going for.
A helles recipe is a simple one.
Pils malt for 90%, Cara Pils for 10% and bittering to 16 to 22 IBUs
Og between 1045 - 1051 Fg 1008 - 1012
Ferment @ 50f using a quality German lager yeast.

What boo boo said. A Helles is pilsner malt based. In any event the Munich II is dark Munich ~10-12 Lovibond. Munich I is ~6-8L.
