I have been brewing for several years now but consider myself a newbie as
I have never delved into all grains brewing but have done a couple of
brews using extract and grain combinations.

So, I have a quantity of Light DME and Briess Pilsen DME along with a good quantity of Rhar 6 Row unmilled grain. I have plenty of different hops combinations on hand.

I would like a good, simple recipe for a crisp, light lager. I need very detailed , as in step-by-step recipe. Anything less than "Bring water to boil and add grains, boil ten minuts and add whatever hops, etc. " will not give me enough information.

Many thanks for suggestions.

My house lager is 8 lbs 2-row, 2 lbs corn, 1.25 oz Hallertauer @ 60:00, fermented at 50° F with 34/70 lager yeast. It's an amazing crowd-pleaser, and my guilty pleasure on a hot summer day.

This is one of my house favorites - mexican vienna lager.

11 gallon batch

10 lbs Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM)
5 lbs Corn - Yellow, Flaked (Briess) (1.3 SRM)
5 lbs Pilsner Malt (Avangard) (1.7 SRM)
2.00 oz Tettnang [2.60 %] - Boil 60.0 min - 8.9 IBUs
1.00 oz Mt. Hood [6.10 %] - Boil 60.0 min - 10.4 IBUs
1.00 oz Mt. Hood [6.10 %] - Boil 15.0 min - 5.2 IBUs
2.00 oz Tettnang [2.60 %] - Steep/Whirlpool 20.0 min - 0.5 IBUs
2.0 pkg Mexican Lager (White Labs #WLP940) [35.49 ml] Yeast 9 -

Although I do a two step mash, you would be fine mashing at 150-151 degrees for 60 minutes. 90 minute boil. Ferment in the low 50's.
