I built the backatronics pwm from this thread:

Everything is working, have the led indicator light flashing on the ssr. I would like to put this in my panel:

With the directions on the site, I added 240Kohms in line with the meter, they said 20,000 * voltage (12v) which gives me 240,000 ohms. It shows the pwm signal just fine. I would like to average out the pulses so that it just gives me a quick look at about the average output. How do I do this?
I'm assuming I need a capacitor somewhere, but I don't know where nor what size. Can anyone help?
