Need an easy drinking beer

So I'm a dark beer guy myself, but my Euro friends just don't dig the the darker heavier stuff or IPAs. I can only order stuff from a few places like boomchugalug.com or homebrewing.org because of my APO using USPS. Any suggestions for a good easy drinking beer? Gotta keep the customer base happy!

You looking for a specific kit or just any recipe that someone may have?

Ok, can't help you with a SPECIFIC kit. But I did look at that boomchugalug site. Based on your description of what your friends like, I'd say if you pick any of those kits in the "Blonde Ale/Cream Ale" category, those would probably be a good bet.

Kölsch would be a nice and easy drinking, yet traditional Euro beer. There are some kits for brewing Kölsch, too.

A blonde or a light pale. Someone will need to convert to extract from the recipe below.

Late hop additions - mostly after chilled below 170°F.

simple recipe for this type of thing is:
80% pale, Pils, ESB, M/O what have you
15% Red Wheat
5% carapils.

Target about 5% ABV

20 IBU in boil. I like it a 20 min for more hop flavor

hop-stand two or three ounces for 20 min at temps below 170°F

dry hop two or three ounces at 5 days

wlp001/WY1056/US-05 yeast.

mash low and there you have it.

I jsut did a combo of Chinook and Denali this way. really tasty.

Look into Mangrove Jack's Dutch Lager kit. It's quite comparable to Heineken from the reviews I've seen. I bottled mine last week and all indications are "nice". I'll test one this weekend and five feedback if you want?

Since you mentioned Homebrewing.org the Yanked English Mild kit is incredibly easy drinking it was only $20 last month so I grabbed one and have it kegged now and it's going fast

Where are you ordering from? Coopers has Mexican Cerveza and all adjuncts for the brew cans they sell. They sell in the US and I believe also Australia.
