I'd think it was cool if it weren't for the fact that 30+ years ago we could send people to the moon and now all we can do is play loop de loop around the earth in the space shuttle.
The sad state of NASA, or more appropriately the sad state of the American public that has given up on space exploration really pisses me off. In the late 1950's and 1960's the space program touched off an education revolution in schools that went on for awhile, now we have "no child left behind". Looks like we are all going to be left behind, since we don't go anywhere else.
Sorry for the semi-rant here, but so much good has come from space exploration and we need to see how much more we can benefit from it.
