Has anyone used naked oats? Going to try to use up all my leftover beer supplies and run across 2lb of NakedOats not even sure what I bought them for,(maybe to get free shipping on a short order or something). Found out its a specialty grain so not sure how much to even use but would like to use it All up maybe just steep it with some extract or something?

I love them! They are wonderful in beers like pale ales, or in brown ales.

I use 1/2 pound in a pale ale recipe, and think it makes a great addition. You can steep it the way you do crystal malt, in water, for 20 minutes or so.
