My red and blue CO2 lines are different -- should I care?

I recently converted my kegerator from a single to a dual setup. The original beer line was a basic red 5/16" ID. The new line I ordered from Beverage Factory is a 5/16" ID blue one, but it's a different construction -- see below.

Should I care? The red one looks like it has an inner "liner" that the blue one doesn't.

Those sure as heck don't look like the same ID.

But at the end of the day it doesn't matter - as long as you can make all your connections gas-tight.

fwiw, I like using 3/16" ID gas line on 1/4" barbs as that's a virtually self-sealing combination. I still use clamps but they're close to superfluous...

Cheers!

Funny -- I just measured them and sure enough they're identical. I guess the clear inside of the red one created an optical illusion lol. They both certainly felt tight on the barbs, and I used a clamp to be sure.
