So im seriously stoked right now.
My wifes friend is dating with our local pubs landlord, and he wanted to try some of my beers, and has said he has 2 72 pint firkins that a brewery never picked up that i can have.
He also said he would like to push out my beers on the public, obviously free of charge but he thinks they will be very popular.
He is looking to relaunch the pub and if the beers go down well with everybody he will open a brew pub and want me to make the beers:rockin:

Nice! Good luck with that. I'd love to brew beer for a living and not take on all the costs and risks associated with opening a brewery.

I would love to one day open a small brew house, but this would be by far the easiest option, possibly leading to being able to broaden my horizons in the future.
I look at it as one step closer to being able to achieve my dream

What a stroke of luck! Now that's cool! Great way to break into the business side of brewing. I hope it takes you where you want to go. I'd like to open a pit BBQ/brewpub myself.:mug:

Amazing! When he says he wants to push them to the public, is he going to use the beer you currently have, or will he allow you to use his equipment to brew a new batch?

Congrats, either way.

Congrats also. I don't think 'pushing my beer to the public' will work here in the U.S. There's so much red tape and that's why bars can't serve homebrews.

He wants me a brew a batch of typical, traditional English beer so i though it has to be an ESB.
im brewing it on my system at home for now, but if all goes well then i will brew it on site at the pub IF he goes ahead with a relaunch.
If he doesn't, then at least i have made a step closer to a brewery depending on public feedback on my beer.
He said i can tap the beer on the night, which to be honest, i think thats what has got me so hyped lol, i mean aint that every mans dream..... to tap his own beer for the general public in a pub :mug:
