Hi all, I have a question regarding brewing all grain. I need to start with a statement first.

I have brewed an ESB twice now and of all the beers I've done it is the only one that draws off the mash tun clear as a finished beer. Also the only beer I've ever hit my numbers on exactly. Its fun to do this one, but I wonder..

Does Maris Otter offer that more predictable and consistent result and the clarity that 2-row don't?

It's currently the only thing I can say has been different.

Well, MO is a 2-Row malt, so I'm not sure how it manages to be different in that way.
