Holy crap guys, I am new here. I am enjoying my first batch of brew as i type this. I have been reading through the site and my head is spinning with the plethora of info that I have been trying to cram into it! Today I have brewed up my 2nd batch and got one question that i can not find answer to.
Brewed a "Home Brew" Light German Beer i was reading about the ghetto way of droppin the temp. (freezing 2litre bottle and putting them in to drop temp) As i was going to resanitize my thermomator (sp?) It broke. I ran to the store to buy another one and didnt take the ice bottles out. Ha ha haha silly me. When I got back the temp of the brew was cold 34-38ish. I went ahead and pitched the yeast according to instructions. It said that whort mix had to be below 90degrees. Of course at this temp the yeast didnt seem to mix well. did I kill the yeast?(i dont think that is possible) I beleve that once the temp comes up a bit all will be hunky dorey!! am i right
