Hi all. I'm in the process of brewing my first Kilkenny. ive used Mangroves English bitter tin. 15g of fuggles, 15g of Goldings finishing hops and 1kg of blend #20 malt from brew craft and safale 05 yeast. Reading at the beginning was 1044. Does anyone know what this beer should drop down to? After 1 week it has only dropped down to 1020. I have already tasted this beer and it tastes like the real thing.

I pulled my recipe off of beersmith.com. I upped the LME to 8lbs and hops to compensate. Recipe states 1.044 OG, but I was around 1.050. Expected with the additional LME. Been in the fermenter for 6 days. Smells good. Will check gravity in a few days. Airlock has slowed since day 2 thou. Wondering if that is normal.
