My First Cider - Boysenberry turned out!

I am so excited! I made this one by myself. I was worried because I added the FJC in the beginning on the advice of our local brew supply guys. The results, a very dry and high alcohol cider...not what I wanted. So I backsweetened with a half pound of lactose, still not right. But I kegged it anyways. The flavor profile continued to change, but I still wanted it sweeter so I added 1 container of FJC, then 1 more. And now it is perfect! Tart, but sweet berrylicious with a 7.9%Abv! I am so excited! I know..total newbie showing her stripes!

Actually that's a good save if you like what you have as an end result.

I think it is good that it is still kinda tart, like a boysenberry. But I will do it differenly next time!
