I 'built' a filter setup to screen my mead/cider of sediment and yeast.
It uses a home water filter, with various connectors to adapt the hose connections to my brewing hoses.
I have two filters I use. A 5 micron filter I use after I have racked off the intial sediment/yeast. Then I use a 0.5 micron filter around the time of bottling.
I was worried the half micron filter would screen out some flavor, but the apple and cinnamon flavors were still there.
