The cider turned out very nice; very dry, but nice. No airlock activity after 10 days. I used Mangrove Jack's M02.
After sorbitol and a 3 day cold crash (43F high, 28F low) on the front porch I got a pretty clear result.
Back sweetened using caramel (light brown sugar, water and cinnamon, 1 quart per 5 gallon) and 4 frozen apple concentrates per 5 gallon.
Bottled in 1/2 gallon plastic jugs for Xmas presents for friends and family.
I think it would have been better carbed up, but it couldn't be helped due to the bottling.
It is really nice and 2 coffee cups kinda knocked me for a loop.
