Can you use multiple strains of yeast in one batch of beer to try for a different flavor? Like say a dry yeast and a liquid yeast. Or is this just a terrible idea?

Well, I recently washed my first batch of yeast to have yeast ready to go for further batches. After washing, I realized that this chocolate stout that had fermented with a liquid strain was then combined with a dry yeast to try help it attenuate even further. So, I have a washed combo of whitelabs and safale that I don't know how it will ferment.

Once I find out, I'll let everyone know
