Sounds and looks like a solid beer. BUT... you really should not drink while you operate a chainsaw...:drunk:

I can't drink and operate a chainsaw at the same time. :D Who says someone else wasn't around sawing wood while I was drinking?

Doing this one this weekend. Just got my ingredients in the mail.

Yeah, very good. I brewed this and gave away a lot to people in my life and everyone, including myself, loved it. I will be brewing this again very very soon. If you want a not-so-bitter but very flavourful ipa I would highly recommend it. It was very tasty. I've brewed 6beers so far (all grains from the start) and and this is my fave so far.

Remmy, have you ever considered dry hopping this recipe? I have all the ingredients to make this plus extra Simcoe and Citra. I'm considering dry hopping with two Oz of each per 5 gallons. Thoughts?

Go for it. I make enough IPAs I dry-hop. I'm sure this beer can benefit from a dry-hop but I didn't do that...hence, the recipe is what it is.

Man this stuff is so good. Drinking my first one now and it's the best beer I've made yet. Smooth, citrusy and hoppy without being overly bitter.

Personally I have never used citra or simco hops. I have brewed many ipa's and can say you can benefit from dry hopping. My main hops of choice are cascade and chinook. I go for bittering and aroma. Enjoy and hoppy brewing.

recipe looks good. I would move up the first addition a little. or maybe add .5 oz chinook at 60 min?

Go for it. I like when people suggest alternatives. It's good thinking. But obviously not the recipe.

Never pictured Remmy as a hip hop head, but he's got a good taste in music I see :p
