I just purchased my first brewing kit and it is a Mr. Beer kit I got for $10 from a fb add. I purchased the Canadian Blonde as my first time brewing. I would like to add coriander (which I purchased from a brewing supply store), cinnamon (I have the sticks I bought awhile ago from Walmart and I was going to add to the wort), orange (planned on zesting and soaking in vodka to sanitize), and honey to add flavor and boost the APV a bit. In my head this sounds amazing but does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am on VERY tight budget. Thank you.

To me, the cinnamon doesn't belong there, or I mean wouldn't work well with the style or the coriander. But i can't say I've ever tried it, so who knows?

I second the cinnamon probably not being the best option. Could be kinda funky with the coriander. But theres only one way to find out and thats brew it!

There is always a desire with new brewers to take their Mr. Beer kit and add a lot of stuff to try and make it better IMO you would be better off just making the kit as is. When I started I added cherries to a Bohemian Czech Pilsner, it was awful... Mr. Beer kits don't tend to make the best beer, but they can still be decent, with a little research and a proper fermenting temperature.

If you insist on toying with the kit, here is a video that will help you make some improvements.

Enjoy and good luck!!
Cheers
