Hi HBT,
Homebrewer of about a year here. I've been lurking the forum for a while, and this is easily where I've learned the most information from such a vibrant and active community. My beverages have greatly improved over the course of 30+ batches. So this is partly a long overdue thank you to the community. Specific threads that come to mind include blending saison yeasts, harvesting wild yeast, NE IPA, endless process/ingredient/flavor talk, and of course the pellicle thread.
Onto the real business - I've just secured my first job having graduated college last month. I'm headed out to Reno, NV to teach music in the public school system and I'm coming from Pennsylvania so this a big move for me. Equal parts nervous/excited. Anyway, I was hoping I could catch a homebrewer in Reno who would be able to tell me about my new city.
All in all, thank you HBT for setting a great example of what a hobby community can and should be. Once I feel I have something worth saying, I'll look forward to contributing!

Cheers! :mug:

PS. Sorry about rotated picture, not sure how to upload it in correct orientation just yet

Welcome from Vermont. Kudos to you for teaching in a public school.
Extra marks for teaching music! Music is the spice of life. :mug:
