Moving to a new city, beer in hot moving truck?

Hi all,

I am moving to a new city in late July. I have 36 belgian quads (9.5% abv) and 36 imperial stouts (9.8% abv) that I am bringing with me. Should I be worried about these being in a moving truck which I imagine could get as hot as 100-110 degrees F inside if is say, 90 F outside? The drive will take two days.

Have a going away party before you leave. If there’s any left it will probably fit in a cooler.

You have 72 bottles to keep cool for 2 days. Three cases. Buy a bunch of those cheap styrofoam coolers, put the beer in and place a 5# block of ice on top of each. Throw a blanket over them for a little extra insulation.
