I'm about to keg a beer I brewed for my family's July 4th party. My home setup has the CO2 tank in the fridge next to the keg. When I serve the beer on July 4th, I'll need to keep the keg in a cooler on ice, but the CO2 tank will need to be outside the cooler. I've never done this, so I wanted to know if there were any issues with this and, if so, any advice on how to best manage this situation. Thanks.

There are no issues with leaving the tank outside. However, the pressure reading may change as the tank temperature changes, especially if there is a dramatic swing in temperature, i.e., going from 40° in your fridge to 90° in the sun. I would make a point to check the serving pressure every hour or two in an abundance of caution.
