No but wife and I are going to watch it tomorrow night. Again, probably the 100th time. Not complaining.
Just thinking about it, it was my cousin's favorite movie growing up so I probably watched it 70 or 80 times. It's interesting watching it as a child up through adulthood of all of the jokes and what I thought was funny then versus what I find hilarious now. It's definitely a movie with comedy targeted at all age groups

P1: You know, ..., if you're as good in bed as you are on the dance floor, I'll bet you're one lousy ****.

P2: Then how come they always send me flowers the next morning?

P1: 'Cause most guys don't know a good **** when they've had one. Or I dunno. Maybe they thought you was dead.

LOL! True story: I saw Saturday Night Fever on a Saturday night...

You didn't finish the quote..."on the grounds of Brooklyn, your Honor".

I like Christian Bale films, but he speaks too softly for my ears.

Oops, The News Boys aka Newsies.

FWIW, I've been to one of the Hearst places. I did Basic training at Ft. Ord in 1972. Later, did some work on the M119A1 Howitzer at Camp Roberts, stayed on Presidio once too. And took my wife up the coast from LA to Monterey about 10 years ago.

And you even got the newsies.... Once again.... I'm impressed..

Thanks. I'm kind of a movie junkie. (I used to say it was because I was addicted to popcorn). I'm just not into horror or other crappy crap like Blair Witch and Cloverleaf. FWIW, they are the reason why I don't like movies like Blair Witch and Cloverleaf. And sadly I have to admit that I both of them too. Their advertising were better than the films.

I do a lot of reading too. Not a lot of books, per se, just reading on many subjects that interest me.

When it comes to movies, I'll be watching one on TV and Google the actors and sometimes go off on tangents to some of their links and movies they did.

It's just a bit difficult finding lines that can't be Googled...

I do the same thing. Wife complains when I only listen to music, but no complaints for watching movies.

While on, I'll usually read technical papers and things and look up show info on imdb or similar.

OK, we have that in common. Does she like the kind of music do you listen to?

My wife hates it when I sing "Get the Funk Out" because she thinks I'm saying the other word. (She's a Bible reader...every day for an hour or so).

I think it was Bill Cosby who said: You know why old people read the Bible? They're cramming for finals. LOL!

Back to music...I like almost everything since the Beatles, including the Beatles. And I've stuck with those bands that have been producing since then so saying 60s to 2010s would be fair, but not all inclusive. As an older guitar player I'm really appreciating all the talent of those before us. I guess both "classic rock" and myself are "classic" now.

New listeners who get turned on to an old rock band can listen to everything a band put out, but I remember having to wait for Led Zeppelin (and others) to release their 2nd album. LOL! Anyway, I basically like everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top (both of which I've seen in concert). I used to be a concert junkie too.

FWIW: If Rap/Hip Hop dropped off the face of the planet I couldn't be happier. I'm a big Motown fan though...The Temptations, Four Tops, etc.

Movie #1 "Pain has a face. Allow me to show it to you."

Movie #2 "
Person 1 No, you listen to me! Phadrig Oge was standin' under the white thorn tree by the summer house when his Lordship gave you the bad news today. And, the moment I heard you were in trouble I swore I'd take you out of it! And if you're the good, decent man I think you are, you'll be showin' me a little bit of gratitude!

Person 2 : I am grateful. "

Wife and I like similar music. She likes country whereas I'm not much of a fan. more Pop than I do and tolerates more Rap than me.

Regarding Rap and Hiphop: they have similarities, but I see them as being quite different. Hiphop can be intelligent whereas rap is short for cRap. (Some exceptions apply). As such, I'll listen to some hiphop, but the cRap on the radio, well, crap.

9 was by far the worst.... 10 wasn't bad.. It was actually written as a hellraiser script rather than 5 - 8 which were just random scripts that they inserted pinhead and the cenobites into. And I really liked the ending of 10...

Both from the same movie

"I took a course in art last winter. I learnt the difference between a fine oil painting, and a mechanical thing, like a photograph. The photograph shows only the reality. The painting shows not only the reality, but the dream behind it. It's our dreams, doctor, that carry us on. They separate us from the beasts. I wouldn't want to go on living if I thought it was all just eating, and sleeping, and taking my clothes off, I mean putting them on..."

"P O O K A - Pooka - from old Celtic mythology - a fairy spirit in animal form - always very large. The pooka appears here and there - now and then - to this one and that one - a benign but mischievous creature - very fond of rumpots, crackpots, and how are you, Mr. Wilson?" "How are you, Mr. Wilson?" Who in the encyclopedia wants to know?

I think part 8 or 9, the franchise admitted that they made the movie just to maintain franchise rights or some similar bs.
