Hey brewers,

I've just moved into a new house which is a bit of a rundown dive and there's some quite obvious mould in the ceilings. Add to this my SCOBY has been sitting in a storage solution for about a month and it's probably not as vibrant as it could be, so I'm a little concerned about some white spots on the top of my brew.

What do you think: is this white mould floating on the surface, or just buch mama colonising the tea?

The white stuff looks like CO2-bubbles. I don't really see any mold, but I don't give any guarantees, considering the quality of the pictures...
