Hi,
Just wondering if anyone is using a soft start/stop on their motors? I'm mostly concerned about the ac compressor motors on my keezer and my cornelius chiller which are both simply switched by a stc 1000. In the case of my chiller, the stc is hard wired and I've bypassed the malfunctioning oem controller. Starts and stops sound pretty bumpy and I'm wondering how much lifetime I'm losing here.
I've seen some diy plans for a soft start, but it seems a bit too complicated for me. Anyone have experience here?
Cheers,
