Most embarrassing homebrewing mistakes

I've mentioned a couple in here but completely forgot to mention my worst failure yet (maybe it's because I don't want to remember).

A while back, I thought it'd be a good idea to wash my counters with star san. Close to $1,700 later we have new countertops. I completely missed the big corrosive warning label! Doh! Never again.

Brewed a Timothy Taylor Landlord Clone
Recipe called for .9 oz of black malt
I tossed in 9 oz. of black malt
I called it Timothy Taylor Darklord

It was tasty
