I started with a Haier 5.0 Freezer as my fermentation chamber with an STC-1000. I have since upgraded it to a BrewPi (which is awesome). It's great for single 5gal batches or 5gal and various 1 gal odds and ends. The problem I'm running into lately is trying to ferment multiple batches at the same time, especially as i'm getting into more interesting beers that require longer fermentation times.
I'd like to be able to ferment 2-3 5gal batches at the same time, and be able to control at least one of them independently (lagers, etc). If I was starting from scratch, i'd probably just get a bigger chest freezer to hold 2 and then a kegerator-style fridge for the single.
I'm just trying to figure out the best way forward with what i already have. Any suggestions?
