My first brew was with a MR. Beer kit. I used straight cane sugar dumped in the bottle to carbonate. It worked fine.

My local brew shop suggested Cooper's drops for my next batch. I upgraded to a 6.5 gallon carboly. It worked good on the 12 oz bottles but failed in one liter bottles.

Can I go back to the straight sugar or should I now try corn sugar.

I am using Coopers Pislner mix, with Cooper's lite malt. I am using two pounds of the dry malt.

I used corns usugar but never did notice a differance when I tired cane sugar. Boil some water, add the sugar to that and dump it into you bottling bucket, and your beer and stir. then bottle.
