Mold or mildew on wheat grains?

Got some wheat grains here with blackish spots. Is that mold or mildew? Most of the grain looks normal, but it is a couple years old. Any thoughts?

I'm no biologist, but that looks nasty. I wouldn't risk my time brewing something with that. I'd write it off as a loss.

You could watch season 3 episode 2 of the 1975-1977 show, "The Survivors" to see what could happen;

or you could read about mycotoxins (https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/mycotoxins) that while they are unlikey to survive mashing, do you really want to make beer from that?

Glad you made up your mind quickly... I'll confess; Though ill-advised, I'm in a lot of pain so I've been drinking and I've been reading the news so I've got mixed up flags going off as yours is the second post in as many days about mold and I've been internally debating wether to post this in the 'drunken rambling' thread or here:

...just as a drunken paranoid warning.
(BTW: While not a tinfoil-hatter, I do cuncur with Stephen King's definition of 'Paranoid'.
