I try to be good about hop storage. I buy in bulk, keep in the freezer, and vacuum seal any open packages.

Is there any downside to mixing varieties in one vac sealed bag?

For example, yesterday I made an IPA. Opened new bags of 3 different hops. Measured and tossed in all the hot side hops. Then measured out the dry hops, vac sealed them in 3 individual bags, and put them in the freezer. Then I seal each of the 3 bags of leftover hops and freeze them. In a few days, I'll open the 3 small dry hop bags and toss them in the fermenter. Is there any downside to tossing all 3 dry hop varieties in one vac sealed bag?

I imagine its fine, but for some reason I always keep them separate.

I buy in bulk, then vacuum seal in mason jars with my foodsaver vacuum seal attachment and store in the freezer. The hop aroma is as fresh as when they come out of the Mylar package.
