I bought several British hop varieties that I've never used before last year to use in a series of SMASH bitters. I bottled the batch using minstrel hops yesterday. I really like it, but come to find out that minstrel hops have been discontinued.

I just looked it up and it sounds great, so now I’m disappointed as well.

I’ve been finding that whenever I particularly love a non-IPA hop, I then find out that it’s high in farnesene. Since I’ve never had Minstrel, I can’t say for sure, but I’d recommend a high-farnesene substitute. Sterling is one of my new favorites. Boadicea is nice, too.
