mini kegerator

So I was recently gifted a mini kegerator from a friend's dad who knows i like beer and brewing. he really didn't like using it so i was gifted it. knowing that there is a small market for 5 liter mini kegs out there (Heineken and Dab) i am wondering if i can re use the kegs and fill them with my own brews. I would love to come home and have one of my fresh IPAs on tap. It comes with CO2 and everything. You think it is possible to do?
